I believe in the magic of a good story to transform a child’s world and inspire endless imagination.

When I was a child, my favorite phrase was “ ‘cause know why?!” I was born curious, asking questions, seeking wonder and happily storytelling what I had learned.

As a real-life Ms. Frizzle, you will often overhear me declare “Let’s explore that!” as I guide others to embrace their curiosity, explore new possibilities, and see the world with a renewed sense of wonder. I have had the privilege to teach all ages, from preschoolers to professionals, over the past 25 years.

I enjoy leading adult writing groups and workshops that encourage self-expression and storytelling. My own writing has been featured on ScaryMommy.com and in the North Salem Post.

When I’m not teaching or writing, you can find me taking pictures of heart-shaped rocks or sticks that form the shape of letters while hiking, traveling off the beaten path (thanks to the “avoid highways” feature on my GPS), or hunting for treasures at local bookstores with messy shelves.

I live in North Salem, NY, with my family who knows that I will always stop for a lemonade stand even if it means we may be late for our flight.
